To say I love this song is an understatement,

words of truth, heart, set in mood. I have told you before, your music has become a salve to soothe our wounds in an uncertain world…

Maybe my ignorance was bliss in youth. I prattled about checking people in and out of my life and vice versa like a library card. But with age and sage I find myself more forgiving, although not forgetting. I still can throw a punch once in a while.

It's as if you are speaking directly to a personal experience of mine. The forgiveness message is what I know I'm meant to take from your sharing. Know that I'm working toward it. Thank you.

The ear worm was waiting for me before this recording was even finished!

It has made itself comfy and has taken charge of all the other worms on the farm.

The lyrical message speaks through the musical structure without the

necessity of words, as the lyrics are expanded by the emotional impact

of the sound. You can simply FEEL the lyrics.

And when you do 'hear' the words and give them a cognitive 'go'

the tears in your heart hear it and flow.

The arrangement punctuates all these things as it builds to the leaving.

It's a YUMMY song and I'll be wrapping it around me from now on

as it incubates all my lovely worms with its torchy warmth.

If the rest of the recording is like this..............!!!!!

Just today I was driving and the phrase “You can’t fix stupid.” came to me. Pretty much the same only more specific. 👍👏😹

Good gawd this song is so good. I especially love the full arrangement with that sweet, sweet pedal steel. But those lyrics...whew! So damn good.
