Real good one. I know what you mean about the regret thing. My mandeo player up North had a Taylor and a Martin given to him by his soon to sadly depart friend of the same name as me. He was told to gift the Martin to a youngin who deserved it. I am no youngin so that piece of wood remains a-waiting the deserving soul, but the other, the Taylor, made me a much better player as did my friend. I like cheap guitars so kept my mouth shut. I don't regret it. But you go get it! You earned it right there on stage at the Cactus Cafe w/text below or is it the Armadillo? I wanna go...
That's a good one, Kevin. I'd like to see a video of you receiving that guitar from your friend; it would be good to document that passing from one hand to another. Sort of solemn but affirming as well, as I'm sure you know.
And this is precisly why I claimed you as "fambly" at Aunt Dottie's so many years ago. Amazingly beautiful tune! KR ear worm beats out RFK's brain worm! - Cuz Deb
Another semi-famous dude once gave me a guitar, not for me but for one of my kids, who was interested at the age of 12. I think the giver of said instrument took a picture or video of Child with guitar. Wonder where that image went.....years past and kids change hobbies, so I returned said gift back to the presenter. From our old buddy that was always wandering around, the BMF Ryan Hawkins.
That’s some fine guitar picking on a song that indeed has beautiful lyrics. And it’s perfectly timed for this week’s Texas heat as we hit triple digits. And I vote yes on a little video about your friend and that beautiful old guitar.
Beautiful song that seeps inside and grows in a good way on you. Fantastical (is that a word) lyrics! Happy Birthday wishes to you today, Kevin!
Great stuff, Kevin!!
Thank you, Cynthia!

Yes that is the Cactus Cafe. Sponsor of this was a relaunched brand of the old Armadillo World HQ

It’s quite the ditty

To The Hawk!! May he live forever in the stars
Imagine Hawk and Cheeks, jumping from star to star, or cruising and singing a little ditty
